Ever since working Star Wars Weekends in 2012 and getting into The Clone Wars show, I have loved Ahsoka. She is such a strong female character and really paved the way for Rey's legacy. I was so excited when I found out Ahsoka was going to be in Star Wars Rebels - it's the only reason I started watching the show.There is something Shakespearean about Ahsoka and Anakin's relationship now. Besides Obi Wan she was the closest with Anakin - possibly even more so as their personalities were very similar. Its poignant to see how far forked a path can become for two people who had a very close relationship, almost like siblings, and then see it come to a head in the her discovering that difference - shock and betrayal.
I wanted to capture that feeling in this piece. Done with Prismacolor colored pencils and Prismacolor markers on toned paper. This took me a while to complete - it's probably the most complicated lighting I've done in a colored pencil illustration. I'm very happy with how it turned out, even though it was very stressful without that "Undo" button.

you hid too much of her face....also her leg connecting to her butt is too low and looks like an action figure....you shoulda blended the connection form the top of her leg to her butt instead of sectioning it off...and the section is too low her leg isn't high enough
