Instead of doing other things, I had to go and messily doodle the town after watching that. If you haven't watched the first two-part episode aired today, this is a spoiler warning and you should go watch it .
That line in the song sounded like foals born and raised in the town, being fed conformity all their lives, so they 'never dream'.

I like your interpretation of that line. The lack of vanishing point and distorted perspective in your work really highlights the conformity.
For being a "children's" show, it was somehow more sinister than one would expect.
