Didn't notice the little halos and wings on their heads at first. I like how you lit the piece too, very subtle. It doesn't stand out at first, but then the eye realizes the shadows are darkest where the light shines brightest, and then the eye realizes the shadows are drawn but the lighting is real...er.
Lends it the feeling of genuine depth. Like a window into a crazy black and white dimension full of slender ponies gone to the great pasture in the sky. Still, a little further and it would have been melodramatic. As is it feels somber, something important to be treated seriously. Always cool to see more unconventional stuff out of you.

You made good use of the proportions of your style—the long legs of the adults makes them seem appropriately alien and distant when contrasted with the smaller child beneath them. That and the limited circle of lighting around her gives the image a claustrophobic effect. The expressions are also extremely important to this one, with the adult's eyes serenely closed and faces clouded in darkness except for the one the subject is looking at, who doesn't seem to notice her at all. I love how it all captures a child's overwhelmed perspective so well.
