Description
Modeling done in Blender 2.5 and composition done in Photoshop CS4. This creation was based on a drawing I made 3 years ago .. Was hard to do everything right, but even not being perfect, I liked it very much!+ about this character.

I use the internal render in all the character, just the final composition and the background that I made in Photoshop.

You're welcome. I like the result too. Do you write up a character description about your characters when you design them? Instructors always told us to do that. When you think of them as a real person with their habits and personality, it's easier to figure out what would be a good action pose for them, and how they walk, and stuff like that.

Well generally I both drawing and modeling, usually act on impulse ... Creating what comes to mind .. In this model I took an old drawing of 3 years ago, and I did!

I think writing character descriptions is good practice because it's something professionals use in workflows towards character development and they use that information when they do character sketches, modeling and animation.
Whatever the process, you came up with a great character and model.

I agree with u! I have a project for an animated short film to make in the Blender, but not yet started because I could not well describe the character or the story ..?It's only in my mind .. So I see even the help of the descriptions in this case

Cool. Type it out, even if it's only preliminary. Read it back to yourself and you'll get more ideas I bet.

Sometimes I leave things in my mind so long that I don't get anything done for a long time.
Yeah we did, but it's all good. LOL. I've seen plenty of people do it too.

Well !! I did the drawing course when was a kid, then use what I know in my 3d models .. About 3d I learned by myself and tutorials on Web..Everyday it's a new lesson to be learn...

Muuuuito legal! A modelagem ficou muito suave, combina com o personagem 
NΓ£o sei se foi proposital, mas tem luzes em toda a parte frontal dela; tira um pouco do realismo, mas ressalta tudo dela.

Bem eu usei 3 pontos de luzes nela, 2 frontais e 1 traseiro.E as frontais estΓ£o mais fortes para destacar o rosto dela, pois tinha ficado meio escuro.E quando ao realismo, nessa personagem nΓ£o pensei muito nisso nΓ£o, preferi deixar ela mais artificial mesmo!!!

Só falei do realismo quanto à iluminação, mas não pareceu uma tentativa de realismo, mas de cartum mesmo
