sucks so hard!characters aren't mine but everything else: pose, lighting, colours is from the top of my head, hence the background sucks even more!
lost patience with it.
all in all about 6 hours of work on and off, from initial thumbnail to doing line work, checking my values and doing a quick colour test before committing to finished piece.

thanks bro,that means a lot. apart from the characters which belong to OnePiece (do you watch it?please say yes) everything was done purely from imagination: poses, lighting, perspective, colour. it wasn't my usual sit and draw though, quite a bit of planning went into it before hand. Did a rough initial sketch and then did a rough value test. once I was set, I went in to do line work and on completion I copied it into a new file and minimized it so I could then do a quick colour test. then went back and did the finished product.

Sounds like a really good process. Actually I never got into OnePiece for some reason. I guess I took the path of Naruto instead lol. I've always been quite interested though, just a bit intimidated by the large amount of episodes there are now.

NOOOOOOOOOO!! lol think of it this way, you have a lot more episodes to enjoy as to which you wont have to wait for weekly releases! seriously, I whole heartedly recommend it, this is someone who watched the main three giants, bleach, naruto and onepiece. one piece destroys them both.

Hmm really? I'm a pretty big fan of bleach too. I stopped watching after the Aizen story was over though because of the fillers and cancellation. If it's really better than both of them that sounds very tempting!
