Description I continue to be in a curious mood and I’m still thinking of “hair”. I do not always make earrings, I do not always have the inspiration to make them, but today is different … this is my third pair. Now that is … curious … Also, I’ve always wanted to make a pair of asymmetric earrings, and since today is not like other days, I reckon it’s the best time to make a pair.

This pair of mixed media earrings is made up of vintage charms and findings, tiny pieces of leathers, a pair of beautifully patterned ocean jasper beads and black shell beads. One side of the earrings spots the extra black fibre shredded from a ball of yarn, a very long vintage chain and an oval plate with a dictionary excerpt attached and protected with a layer of thick glaze. The earwires are 20 gauge artistic wires, hammered for strength.

The whole length of the earrings (well … one side of it) is 7 inches.
