Description
Furthering my experiment on the asymmetric cuff ear adornment, I tried to incorporate this design in a completely different style. This time, I chose a more romantic fairytale-like genre. I loved how it turned out and imagined it on an actual bride in a fairyland inspired garden wedding

This pair of mixed media earrings is made out of wires of brass and copper, painted brass chains, leather, gears, clay, paint, resin, artisan ceramic beads, and Picasso Jasper beads. A painted wing sits on a lace bouquet, and the tiny birdhouses are folded from copper sheets, then aged. The winged bouquet is riveted to the cuff which is also made of aged copper and wears on the left ear.

* the earrings are slightly more than 5.5 inches in length (including earwires, but not including the cuff).

* the earwires are 20 gauge brass wires handformed and augmented by fire
