Time Travel is yet again inspired by some of my favorite elements, vintage maps, the compass and old world romance where explorers sail into the unknown onto a journey of lifetime discoveries.This mixed media handbound journal is decorated with painting techniques, image transfers and copyrighted designs. The focal an image transfer of a compass©, a rusted washer and a salvage gear from an antique clock. The page marker is made up of a brass chain and ends with a blank brass plate**. The artwork is then aged and distressed. The covers are finished with several coats of satin varnish to protect the artwork.

Pages : Brown Craft paper, 288 pages counted both sides

Spine : Double Leather, Stiff
Thread : Beige Nylon
Style : Single Long Stitch
* This journal comes in a sturdy and beautifully made box.
** For this journal, I have thrown in a little extra in the form of a blank brass plate at the end of the page marker. I can stamp a word, name, initials of your choice. The brass plate allows a maximum of 4 alphabets.

I've been commenting a few works of yours and I can't be nothing else but constantly amazed of your creativity with these books. You can really make their theme anything and put anything on their covers. And on top of that you make it look so damn pretty.

thank you so much for all your beautiful comments! talking about themes ... i couldn't do that in the beginning as well ... but once i learned how to let the mind roam, things just come. it's funny but it somewhat works. the only drawback is, i never get to design something on paper and follow it to the end like some of the artists i know ... just doesn't happen when the mind roams
