There are memories … and there are memories that are etched so deep within us that no amount of time could make them fade away …This mixed media bracelet is a wrap around and is constructed with bits and pieces of an old faded jean seam, brass wires augmented by fire, chains, stained gauze, lace, dyed fiber, weathered leather, Picasso Jasper beads and a tiny bell. The focal of this piece is a time capsule in the form of a clay tablet etched with script and stained with the patina of time, wrapped in a repurposed brass sheet. The weathered clay tablet symbolizes the deeply etched memories that reside in us, even though weathered with time, will never fade away.
*the cuff fits a 6.5 - 7 inch wrist. The chain extension has been left as is for the purpose of adjustment should you need a larger wrist circumference. Please leave me a message stating your wrist measurements so that I may adjust it before shipping. After adjustments have been made, the chain will be shortened accordingly.
