I think I'm falling in love with pixel animation ;w;

Ahaha this contest was posted shortly after I made my icon, simply had to enter x'D
I've set myself some rules for all the icons, each one should have several individually moving parts, their designs should be simple and easily convey what the stand for. I guess I've succeeded to some degree x'D

Gosh I'm so tired, gonna try to write this anyway but it might sound stupid and I might rewrite everything tomorrow after reading how horribly absurd everything is

Oki so onto the icons;

Beania; Tbh it took me a long time to decide whether I should use the free species for the continent icons or the chronopods, in the end I went with the chronopods since they somewhat have the requested colors for the icons so yay 8D this way I also could implement the very first idea I got for this contest, a pead cleaning itself like a hamster. Idk it just seemed like something they'd do xD

Capria; I feel like I wasn't able to translate this one fully from my initial idea I guess? Since the icons all should be in one picture I kept the timing and length of them all the same but this one would definitely profit if it could be a little longer x'D

Fluffia; I struggled with this one bc I just had no idea what to do with the beed. I ended up just starting to sketch an animation and drew a looping?? So I animated it bc why not and now I think this one's my favourite xDD

Kingdom of Griffia; Definitely one of the hardest to figure out. I checked other entries to get a feeling for what I wanted to go for and I noticed that I had a hard time identifying the KoG one? Welp, I'm one of those people who go to the Beania ML to search for beans so maybe that's why but whatever, I'm getting off track x'D
Now anyway, originally I planned to put Pisum, Sandals and Fauntina into this icon since it's the Kingdom but.. it somehow felt weird leaving out Fornlees like that? Also it would have been a pain to animate those three no matter from which angle I would have tried so I instead chose to do something different and show the four mains on the icon instead 8D

Mod Monster Mash; This one was the last icon I did bc I just didn't know what to put on it? Similarly to the Fluffia one I just started sketching something and ended up liking it so yeeh xD

Bank; Really kinda like this one. Planned on making more items fall but I feel it would have been too much so instead I put some in the background and kept to only animation three items :3

sdfgh there are so many things I wish I would have known earlier but since this is only my.. second(?) attempt at animating/doing icons/pixels I guess I'll have to use that knowledge some other time x'D
All in all these icons have 4 seconds with a total amount of 49 frames at 12fps each. Wish I could have done more frames to smooth the animation but I was afraid the files would get too big :'D (they're only between 5 and 7 kb what??)

Now if you excuse me, gotta unpack that PS4 I bought myself today and finally play some Monster Hunter World >83
