Name: Jonah
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2"
Nationality: American, roots unknown.

Personality: Jonah can come off as being a bit rough around the edges. He didn't have a very good upbringing do manners sometimes escape him and he can come off blunt or rude. Also known to act out in a bit of a cocky manner if he's in an uncomfortable situation. He tries not to attach himself to anyone, unaccustomed to most forms of affection. Underneath it all though Jonah is a caring person. He has his own strong sense of justice and dislikes seeing people treated unfairly. He can be trusted when put to a task and is a loyal ally. Yes, he's a big teddy bear inside!

History: Born in a small town near the border of Mexico. He was born a bastard son to a show girl/prostitute, named Clara Oakes. She claimed his father was a rich man from the city, a lawyer of sorts. Jonah never bothered searching him out though, and grew up around the town saloon learning from the other men. Once old enough he got work at a local ranch where he learned to ride and herd. Along with learning how to use guns. He became adept at the revolver, preferring it over the larger rifles. Jonah worked at the ranch till he was 23 when his mother grew ill due to an unknown disease. He stayed with her for her final months and that was the last time he set foot in that town. He'd decided to travel and see what else the world had to offer.
On his travels in the southern part of Mexico he came across something he'd never seen before. A large infant dinosaur being attacked by a pack of raptors. He'd never seen a beast like this and wasn't about to let it be killed so easily. The fight would both scar and gift him. He'd managed to fight off the raptors, losing the sight in his left eye and scarring his face, but he was able to drag the young dinosaur to safety. Jonah nursed the strange looking dino back to health and the two formed an inseparable bond. He named the beast Boris. It wasn't long before Boris grew to a large enough to be ridden, allowing Jonah and him to travel much quicker.
On his time travelling, Jonah befriended the native tribes in the west, learning from them and their ways of living with the dinosaurs. He'd also grown a dislike for the corrupt rich, and made it his business to ambush caravans and take what he could to aid those less fortunate.
A bounty has amassed on his head due to these attacks, but he's managed to avoid being caught for now. Now hearing about this gold mine in Gwangi, he can't help but show interest and want to win the prize. Not only will it be useful in aiding others, he'd also be well off.

Gender: Male
Species: Carnotaurus Sastrei
Height: 3m
Misc: Very dangerous and known to have unpredictable behavior. Only obeys Jonah. A noticeable hump has formed on his upper back, this is a calloused mound of flesh formed overtime from the position of the saddle used to ride him. He can run very fast, especially when charging and after prey. Communicates through a variety of grunts and bellows, along with his very loud roar. He will usually make different sounds to indicate his mood. (ex. a low grumble when pleased, deep huffs when agitated, etc.)
