oh nono, my skin is far from flawless. but that's what tattoos, makeup and photoshop is for!
I love Rammstein, yes. But that's not what that quote means to me. That was my first tattoo. Most of all that quote is a reminder to myself not to set the bar so high, in everything, for myself. The wings stand for the freedom of "becoming an adult" (adult? at 18? ha!)

I'm going to be 34 soon and I still have trouble thinking of myself as an adult. I didn't even get my first "real" job until earlier this year.

I am definitely not an adult yet! not in another 10 years at least!
But turning 18 is a big turning point in ones life. Probably bigger in Sweden than in the states. But still, turning 18 is a big step towards becoming an adult. (however, I probably won't consider myself an adult until I'm... 45...)
Being a teenager sucks. For everyone. Well, almost everyone. Not sure I'd see the wings as a "reward". More like a message, and for me: a reminder.
