Here is the 4th drawing of the challenge “couple challenge drawings” the current theme is “sleep”
both could have slept, but at this time Gaara sleeps very little (if at all) because of the Bijuu.

Short story:

At that time, the two were not yet together. But they were already pretty close to each other. A childhood friend, a trusted friend. Although at that moment they both already felt that there was something between them.

How did Izia end up at Gaara's house sleeping on his legs when they weren't together? Quite simply because she ran away from her family after a family argument. Izia's father is quite complicated to live with, he only sees brute force. He likes it when everyone obeys him and hates the weak.

Since she was little, Izia has had the habit of arguing with her father. But this time it was too much, she felt the need to breathe and move away for a moment. This is how after wandering the streets of Konoha, Izia came across Temari who was on a computer mission in Konoha. After discussion, Temari requests an audience with the Kage of Konoha Village and requests permission to take Izia to Sunagakure for a special mission. At that time, Stunade was the village chief. Knowing a little of Izia's history, Stunade accepted Temari's request and the girls left for Suna. Once arriving at the sand village, Temari leads Izia to the kazekage (Gaara) office and explains the situation to her. Gaara obviously accepts the choice made by Temari and Izia was welcomed into their home for the duration of the mission.

After the interview with the Kage of Suna, Temari takes Izia and offers to help her with these daily affairs. Izia accepts with pleasure and then has a better day than the one she had with her father. Later, after dark. Izia was sitting near a window of the house where she lived and looking at the landscape with her head in the clouds. That's when Gaara arrives to talk with her. After several hours, Izia finally fell asleep on Gaara's leg.
