I was just searching for "Spyro Stamps" when this came up on the first page... really weird.

This is Flora, a young dragon from a book I am writing. I like to draw all the characters. It's PHUUUNN!

That thing around her wrist is a bracelet made of braided grass. The band around her tail is... a band, but look closely and you will notice there is a pink flower on the other side of it.

I am writing a book called "On Swift Wings" which is about the quest of two young dragons (three, actually) to figure out how to stop the evil dragon Drahlekor from draining the magic from the world. Flora is one of the young dragons who travels with Zukoro, who I will draw next.

Flora is probably the best-developed character for the story so far. She was discovered as an abandoned egg when Magmalaxor and his flock of dragons land in a valley to escape from the draining magic. She grew up alongside Zukoro, who was also an egg at the time. She can be a little annoying, and she is playful like a cat. She's very gentle when happy, too.
She is a very strong and powerfull dragon. Why? Well, she is a plain ol' dragon in every way. She just contains more power than most of them. She is an Earth-Element dragon, harnessing the power of the ground beneath her and the plants on the surface. She can do things similar to the way an Earthbender stamps the ground and pops a rock loose and then sends it flying. She can also bend tree trunks and plants without breaking them using her mind. When she is REEALLY angry (like, seething rage and infinite fury) she can even trigger earthquakes.
Flora is unaware of her powers until later on in the book, when she becomes angry and summons some vines from the earth to... uh, i don't want to spoil the plot too much. Just keep checking back to see if any new chapters have been added!

Do you wanna know a very weird secret about Flora? I mean, really REALLY weird? Okay, here goes:
Me and my friends were at a slumber party at my house. I was playing DotD. One of my friends said, "Spyro needs a girlfriend! Draw him one!" I hesitated for a while but they kept bugging me all night so I finally did it. The dragon that showed up on the paper was a cute little black-and white dragon with a grass bracelet and a flower-band on her tail. Flora looked pretty much the same then as she does now.
A month after the slumber party I had an idea for a story. I banged Flora and Zukoro into it (by the way, Zukoro had also started out as a Spyro character). I gave them a few touches here and there, but despite that, they look pretty much the same. Whee! I love telling stories!
