Hey everyone! Sorry for the inactivity lately, but I must admit, this it the reason why
So, here's my application for.......

This is seriously one of the coolest ideas for an OCT I've ever heard of, and I hope I'll get to be a part of it

Name: Clair De’Morro
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Height/Weight: 5'6" | 126 lb
Hometown/Region: Alto Mare | Johto
Military Faction: Army
Extra items: Two belt-pouches, a camera for her travels, two tags on a chain (One with her army info, and one with the word “ANCORA” inscribed in cursive), a topaz ring on a leather strap, two hair clips, and her Musà (instrument).

Personality:
Quiet, but not shy, Clair is a beautiful young woman who just wants to see the world. She doesn’t talk freely, as stated previously, but she has her social moments. She likes to sit back and listen and hang out with the crowd, though she still has a dislike towards men. It’s not a severe loathing of sorts, but it’s probably prevalent because of the constant bullying she received from males back at the orphanage. Her attitude towards pokemon is wary-natured, but she does not thoroughly dislike them.

Backstory:
After having been found wandering through the sooty hills of Fallarbor Town with nothing but a tag around her neck (ANCORA engraving), Clair was taken to the Fourin Orphanage near the town and raised as a stray. She luckily gained a rather decent education in literacy, but because of the orphanage’s strict rules Clair never ventured outside often, thus never really seeing or interacting with pokemon. She was told how the creatures were feral and dangerous, but the thought of them being monster never truly clicked within the young girl’s mind. She would practice her Musa everyday while thinking of the world outside her dingy room’s windows, strange bird pokemon flying by every now and then, but her playing was often discouraged by the head mother of the establishment.
Once she turned sixteen, Clair ran away from the orphanage and started a journey to find her place in the world, since she knew it was not in that vile institution. She finally wound up in the sea-city of Alto Mare, and decided to stay, for it was here that a new style of music entered her soul, captivating it entirely.
Now, she is off to war, and every moment she wonders just what places and people await her in the near, armed future.

Pokemon

Satyra | Mienfoo | Serious Nature | Regenerator | Female

Like Clair, Satyra was an orphan from the start, left on the steps of Qigong Temple, located on a lone mountain peak east of the Giant Chasm, in a swaddling cloth. The monk living there at the time, Master Bào, took her in as his student and child. Satyra trained under her newfound master to learn the fighting art of Wǔshù as they both lived in solitary harmony.
Despite her excelling nature in Wǔshù, Satyra rarely spoke, and often a sad visage plagued her face, and though silence was a desired ability in the practice of Wǔshù, Bào worked to try to teach his new student how to find peace within her spirit. Since Bào possessed the gift of telepathy, he passed onto Satyra the art of literacy, teaching her how to read and write the human language. From this, the young mienfoo assumed her master had once been close to humans or civilization at one time in his life.
After years of daily practice and instruction, Satyra was already in the process of mastering her skills, and Bào could not be prouder.
One day, though, Satyra awoke to find her master had disappeared as if by purely vanishing, his red-martial belt the only thing remaining. Unsure of what to do, the Mienfoo knew that she could no longer remain at the temple, so she wrapped the belt around her neck to bear against the blistering cold and headed off in search of her master. It was until a few days later that she was captured in her sleep by the Johto armies.
Hesitant of these odd creatures she had only heard of in stories, Satyra braced herself for the trials that were about to occur in her life, since the humans clearly valued her fighting abilities— and would readily put them to use.

[Satyra is her actual name. The Mienfoo wrote out on a piece of paper her name to Clair, since she was the only human who would patiently wait for the pokemon to struggle in scribbling the words]

**Note - Satyra has ONE earring on her left ear**

Æsir | Pupitar | Adamant Nature | Shed Skin | Male

The father figure of the team. Æsir looks out for his comrades--all of them. He's been a Pupitar for a long time, and near the White Forest, Unova where he grew up he looked after all of the pokemon. Fighting off hostile pokemon and the few humans that had ill intentions, he gained quite a few scars (the three little ones on his mask). One day, there was a large rock slide and to protect a litter of Lillipup, he used his mask to block a giant boulder causing the lightning-strike scar in the center of his mask.
When Clair received him, she couldn't believe how much he weighed despite being only three feet tall. She'd never seen a Pupitar, and was instantly fascinated by his shape and character. He was quiet and reclusive at first (and always is), but he quickly became more open and supportive of the army.
Though he doesn't like fighting in general, he will fight to the death to protect the ones he loves. He's taken a liking to Clair like a daughter.

[Since the Pupitar didn't have a name (according to Satyra who wrote this on a piece of paper to Clair), Clair decided to name him "Æsir" because of his lightning-shaped scar]

Clair was paired with Satyra mainly because of their similar dispositions, calm attitudes, and one other commonality: they both dislike men. Yes, Satyra wouldn’t let any of the male handlers approach her without attempting to break their arm or a limb, but at least behaved a bit more with the female ones. The Mienfoo would rather have fought until the death in the situation, but the words of her master always resonated in her mind, “be patient with life, for it is more unpredictable than even our enemies”. Thus, Satyra calmly allowed the vile creatures enlist her into fighting ranks, where she then met Clair. The two oddly get along, but Satyra is one hard nut that just won’t open up, especially to other pokemon.
