Description Modeled in 3dsmax, materials and render in Octane render.

This is part of a series of renders I'm posting, studying different metallic materials, and sculpture modeling. Used miauu's Super Poly Bridge script a lot for this shape, along with the Graphite modeling tools in 3dsmax.

Nice render - especially love the fragments lying around

Hope you don't mind me to post a proposal for the texture:
The texture looks very realistic but for Bronze I would expect the object to be a bit more shiny/or to have some more shiny spots for an irregular surface.

Thanks. I know what you mean, but I was shooting for something more along the lines of this material:
Silicon Bronze . Still, it could be improved upon.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It's almost all procedural materials done in Octane using material nodes, except for some texture masks I hand painted, to control placement.

This is really, really neat. How cool would it be to have this 3D printed!

Thank you! Yes, it probably would make an interesting real world printed object. I have a few others in my gallery that I'd probably pick over this one if I were to actually invest in a printed object, because I think they'd be a bit easier to print successfully, and perhaps a bit more interesting to look at in real life.

I'm about to check our your gallery now. I have to see what is "more interesting"!
