The Imperial Guard are my favourite army in WH40K. I think they are the ones with more balls, fighting the horrors of the universe just with a flak armor and a lasgun (I think I made it too big, but, who cares? thatΒ΄s cool).There are tons of cool images of Spaces Marines kicking asses, but there are many less pictures of the imperial guard, and here it is. My personal contribution to the IG gallery. I hope you like it.

Whilst you've techniques drawn the gun to big, it's actually an easy mistake to make since 40k uses hero scale (bigger, hands, heads, and guns for the most part) for their models, making it hard for a lot of people to draw the guns used the right size ;w;
When someone draws a normal human (with good anatomy) the las guns usually need to be way undersized to look right, using GW's models (and even artwork) as references can't always be relied on. When in doubt, use real guns as a starting point, then base the lasgun on it ;w;

I agree. Β IG doesn't get nearly as much credit as they should. Β Instead, they are compared to Stormtroopers and the likes. Β Can you imagine the Stormtroopers (not Scions but Star Wars) fighting the green tides, hordes of daemons, evil power armoured superhumans, undying machines, masochist space elves, and waves of unending mutant xenos. Β Can they die standing? Β Awesome job. Β For the emperor.

I think that the warhammer 40k universe would crush the starwars universe (Deathstar, a powerful weapon that can destroy a planet... pfff, we call that tuesday). Stormtroopers would shit in their pants if they saw whatever an IG has to do.
