Description OK, enough with pictures.
For a while.
I am done with my photography class, and am currently in summer vacation, so I have much more free time to draw.

Maybe too much time.

Here's just a brief pen study.
I am thinking of moving away from ball-point pen to using more ink pens, since I feel that there is much more flexibility in ink pens (rather than relying on a particular ball-point pen).
I also need practice with color, and so this is a color practice as well.
Please give me feed back, as I need it to reflect upon when I start drawing my next big piece.

Thank you! This is one of my rare color drawings I don't feel comfortable in color usually. I need to learn..

I like the skull on the top right corner. And your handwriting is fine. I think gasmasks look weird.

Yay for stains!

The gasmask does look weird, but that is a gasmask for fish, so I suppose it would look weird. (I include fish with gasmasks in many of my drawings, especially the recent ones.)

Interesting work, again I like the stream-of-consciousness writing there, and think there is a lot of potential with that. Perhaps you can apply that towards color and see what happens?

Thankyou. There is a book that I made in my digital art class (not shown in my gallary), in which i had a stream of consciousness written in in as well. I got unexpectedly good reviews on it from other students, which made me interested in doing it again. I might use this idea on and off, I think it could be something I can incorporate.

Welcome I would agree with you in the usefullness of s.o.c. writing. I've begun using it as a catalyst for my concepts. Often, my visual work is bridged by the writings I've done in between and very interesting connections can be made that aren't usually readily apparent without referring to those writings.

Anyways...dream on

The writing on the side was because I liked how the drawing was turning out, but it was off centered, and so I decided that I could just crop it by putting random text in it, and give it a sort of design feel while i am at it

Ay, I am currently using dip pens (and ink). Playing around seeing how I may be able to use it. I used the same sort of inks to draw my self portrait (the one that is half and half; I used ink on the right half).
