Little known fact that Cuphead's Super Art 3 is a direct reference to the controversial Cuphead Boom games, which sparked controversy by turning Cuphead's arms red. These events led to long-time Cuphead fan and creator of crappy internet comic "Cupichu" Crispy Charles to pepperspray a Gamestop employee. Though recently, the games have had a return to form with the release of Cuphead Mania, which emulated the classic Cuphead games on the MDHR Exodus. The game was positively recieved, and is widely considered to have redeemed the Cuphead franchise after a decade of crap content.
