From The Saga of Tanya the Evil, AKA Yujō Senki. This is my take on the Type 13 Operation Orb, the standard magical computation device issued to Imperial mages. The devices are generally shown as being very simple; a box about a half-inch thick with a red jewel-like front face and a Balkan cross on the top. The cross apparently has a pin on its back, since the devices are shown fastened to uniform tunics at the base of the throat without any sort of suspension such as a neck chain or ribbon.
