I agree... The legwarmers don't look like wool, which is what I think they are meant to be. Need to work on the rendering settings I thing.

Try going in the material settings and removing the reflect map (thats might be what it is)

I was in total ecstacy in the '80s 'cos legwarmers just BLEW MY MIND!!!! OMG the fantasies i used to have over those in my younger days...oooohhhhhhhffffff******cccckkkk. STOPPIT!!!
I love peeptoes as long, as you say, they are not too big. The other side of the front upper is also very sexually attractive especially when a little of the "cleaveage" between the toes is shown. oohhh... ~shakes head to clear his brain~... there is something unbelieveably sexy about that... I think its a sort of mirror of the real cleavage, but multiplied three extra times. O everything about women's shoes, this is THE most erotic thing for me I think.

I personally like the shoes exposed. These look like a set from Idler168, the master of shoes!

I agree with you... the shoes are amazing but the texture on the legwarmers is very "plasticy"...
I think they are idler168, yes.
I once made some shoes... took me ages in "shade". i was really pleased with them but could I get them to conform when imported into poser... I really dont understand the process for shoes and there are very few tutorials around and none that I can find for shoes with ankle straps. *sigh*

What tutorials are you looking for? I know Renderosity has some good ones, and just the other day, I was considering investigating the "Poser 7 revealed" book, because as you know, none of the past books for Poser really gave away too much by way of Poser's real function.

I have Practical Poser 7, which is a good book, it doesn't just regurgitate the manual, but it still doesn't go into the details of the difficult stuff that I want to know how to do. It, for example has a series of walkthroughs on making conforming clothing. Great, and very useful too, but I want to learn how to make something like a strappy sandal in shade or hexagon or whatever (which I can do - well, sort of) and then, and this is the difficult bit for me, import them back into Poser and rig them with bones and conform them and have the straps bend with the ankle like they are supposed to do. Another example would be how to make a pair of high boots and make them conform to the foot and leg. I can do the modelling stuff, it is just slow and painstaking but there are very few if any tuts on how to take the resulting shoes and conform them in poser. Is Poser 7 Revealed any good do you know?
