I LOVE how his fur also almost looks like feathers. Great touch.
However, I don't like the stance. His legs are too far apart in his hind quarters I think. At least for how his body is turned. Canines don't normally spread their hind legs that way.
Other than that, the coloring on the wings, the fur, the detail of the front left paw underside are are incredible! Great work here.

Yes you are right, they do not, but i usually like to do things like that to help make the pose more Dramatic. But yeah I see what you mean. ^^
