Yeesh... it's been what? Two months since I updated? Sorry everybody. 'Ol Lybra's been in a bit of a funk for a while. Between work and general life stuff, I've had no time to work. Technically I still don't. Again, I apologize and hope to make amends to any of my Watchers who may or may not have checked DA daily and cursed my name for not updating.Regardless, I bring you and oldie, but a goodie from my archives today with Venusaur.
As a side-note, The Bulbasaur family is another one of those Pokemon that has more equipment than pictured here that had been gotten too before I was hired. Shields in this case.

Probably because I don't update often. Besides, I'm not doing this for INTARNET FAYM. Mainly to get the fan game my group and I are/were developing some exposure.

I could explain it, buuuuuuuuut it might make you feel worse.
Y'see in the game that this equipment is for, Pokemon Spirit Chronicles, (if it ever gets finished being made, but that's another thing all together) People don't capture and battle Pokemon as is the norm in other Pokemon games. Instead, Pokemons' souls are extracted via Soul Spheres (Hokey Poke-Ball analogue, I know, but roll with it). Once that is done, you can then have the soul forged into one of the pieces of equipment the Pokemon can be turned into. In this Venusaur's case, you'd have a choice between a Bow, a Shield, or a suit of Armor.
So, it's not like we gut and skin a pokemon to make armor out of it. We just suck its soul out like so much soda pop through a cosmic curly straw.
