Digitalised a sketch I did a while ago. The sketch was overall better but I guess I like this too.
While I'm proud of it, it really didn't turn out how I wanted it to. I tried to make it sketchy as a style but it just looks messy
The child is holding out a heart tied by a ribbon to her mother, who is leaving. The ribbon is then attached to the mother The heart is small, sorry XD
I decided to make the mother fading away but the ribbon opaque to show that she really is disappearing forever, and breaking the bond between them. The bloody handprints was just me going wild

It was supposed to be that the mother doesn't love her anymore, and is trying to sever their bond and leave, but the child is trying hard to get her to stay, and will give her anything to make her love her again.

((In the small preview it looks like her hand is actually up her arse, I'm sorry XD))
