So I've decided these are going to be kind of pin-ups now... when I get to drawing Mako I'll make sure it's nothing but beefcake. XDIt was only a matter of time before I took advantage of my buff lady-drawing skills, because Korra certainly proves her strength every episode. (Perhaps I actually drew her a little too bulky, what whatever.) I love that some of the fandom draws her as she's portrayed in the show! Her reference was what seemed to be a bikini/fitness model or something... I think I found it on Tumblr. If I find it I'll link.

It has always confused me as to whether or not Avatar is considered "anime," considering it's mostly Western in its production (despite Asian influences in the actual show). But it's certainly closer to anime than it is to traditional cartooning.
