Yay β₯ I managed to finish my entry for `Saimain 's contest

You can see her character Semiyar and his love Diana.
Semiyar wanders through the night alone, but he knows that he is not alone because he loves someone.
I tried to capture Diana as something not real. She is just a thought of Semiyar.
Because red does really fix together with Diana I drew her in a red and diaphanous way.

I am in love with this piece. I love the concept of his lover's memory holding him and bringing comfort and warmth to him even though they are physically separated. Beautiful--from the concept to the colouring, beautiful.

I liked it, although the contrast among the lineart (sharp, well written) and the colouring (blurred) is a bit shocking, at first.
Also, the expression of her seems a bit forced.

Aww, this is a beautiful concept, and beautifully drawn, too! Semiyar looks so calm and wise, here, perhaps a little battered by the world and in need of Diana's love and support. He might even be considering settling down with her one day. ^__^
