Ciel Phantomhive is one of my all time fav character~!! He's just sooo sooo soooo cuuute and RICH ! So when I saw his pink dress I HAD TO MAKE IT!----This dress is a lot easier than it looks~ phew
1st photo: started off by making a really simple long-wide pink dress.
2nd: THE CRAZY RUFFLE SKIRT OF DOOM!!! This skirt is super heavy cuz of the ruffles....the ruffles were all ruffled by HAND >.< cuz I no haz ruffler foot...yards of ruffles~
3rd: Layers of ruffles and tulles. Made ribbon. Doodled stripes on ribbon cuz I couldn't find stripe ribbons. Added the shoulder ruffles.
4th:....ugly. Ruffles on pink dress added. Ruched the sides.
5th: Reboost petticoat...~ Dress now has volume yay~ Did serious fixing. Black ribbon was added along the black linings.
6th: Made hat! Made gloves! Made new ribbon!
7th: Added red ribbon along the pink ruffles and white lace near the rim.
8th: PARTAY!
I wish I can have a Kuro group photoshoot
. I love this dress a looooooot~Don't let big dresses intimidate you~ they are actually a lot easier.
Cost:...er like less than 50 dollars teehee

how did you make the pink part? i have a tutorial for a victorian skirt that i plan to use with some adjustments and then a tube top tutorial, that i plan to sew together. but last time i used that tube top tutorial i ended up with too much fabric in the upper area.

I'm so sorry for the late reply. I was away from DA. Hmm I'm not sure if I'm reading your comment right. For the tube part, I have lacing in the back kind of like corset lacing so the dress can hold and fit better. The bottom bigpink skirt is connect to the tube. I sew two lines going up the side and ruffled it so it has that nice ruffled affect. If you need any more help please don't hesitate to ask

Out of all his dresses, i do like this one the most, and always amazing to see the people who make it. "Easier then it looks" or you just that talented, lol. I'm still a was away from attempting somethin like this...one day thou.
Anyway, love the photo, you did a great job on a cute outfit. Now I must go now to question how I keep thinking Ciel is cute. o.O
