Another one for the website! 8 Ball was the first Imp ever created and so is significantly older than he seems. His name being 8 Ball is actually a relatively recent development and he has left a few other names in his wake. While I still haven't thought much about a few of his past names, I do have this first one noted and I'm not going to say it but it is from the Epic of Gilgamesh if you want to go looking for it. I wanted to pick an ancient Sumerian name because he comes from ancient Mesopotamia but I don't like trusting baby name websites to be historically accurate so I went looking in an actual story from the time. Fun fact, the Epic of Gilgamesh is actually the oldest piece of written fiction we know of! It's almost 4,000 years old and is considered extremely influential to other ancient heroes like Hercules. <- none of this information is important to 8 Ball, I just think it's interesting. Anyway. I plan on doing a few of this style of portrait with important figures in Infallis' government or history. I've already knocked out Helel, Alkis, Ragyre, and now 8 Ball. Shrowdly is probably going to be next but I also want Annove to be one too.
