First attempt with underwater photography. Was not really planned. Was doing a dive at the wreck of the Oratava in Falsebay, Simonstown, when my instructor handed me his Canon 350D to play with a bit. Now I have never handled that huge thing before with all its little thinga-ma-bobs and strobes and stuff, so I was like "Uhmmmm ok what button do I press". Then figured hey heres a little red leaver, lets see what that does! Then POOF! FLASH! Ahh! ok so you pull the red leaver and it takes a photie. Only took 2 pics though, cos I was quite low on air.. being a deep dive and all.

So.. can't tell you the specs and stuff, but he had a macro lens on, as you can see. The little black thingy is a sea slug called a Black Nudibranch. About 2cm in length. very tiny little thingy. Taken at about 25 metres in depth.
