This was a piece I made last summer for the group show: 'EhOK' at Canteen Gallery in Ottawa. I'm trying very hard not to think about tomorrow so I am distracting myself with deviantART. My grad show is tomorrow night at 7pm and I am really nervous. A lot of industry people will be there and I need to be on my toes all night lol!Anyways this image was meant to be a bit of a play on Canadian stereotypes. The typical idea that most people have of Canadians is that we all live in igloos and it's perpetually winter. I thought I would just paint exactly that; This man coming home to his igloo where I'm sure his wife has prepared him a delicious meal of maple syrup and poutine. Yum lol.
