originally commissioned this design from sariasong64 who did a brilliant job creating this spooky gorl.

ghost quartz is a small and relatively weak white diamond specialist who lost her purpose when the war broke out. she has very unique and situational powers that made her worthless for big fighting, and she had to retreat. years later, she returned to earth in a small stolen pod, the infighting on homeworld becoming too much for her. she now wanders former gem battlegrounds to search for gem shards.

ghost quartz' perhaps most unique ability is the ability to consume other gemstones for their power. although it is morally easier for her to consume shards, she has almost eaten other dormant (although living) gems. eating a gemstone or part of one takes a toll on her physical form, and it becomes hard to move for a while, her body going into lockdown to process this.

to even consume these gem pieces, she must go into her 'phantom mode'.

when in phantom mode, she can either use the ability to consume gems, or, with the stored power from consuming other gems, use super strength. this is very useful for her, since without her phantom mode's super strength, she is incredibly weak physically.
