WOW They both look absolutely awesome!!! They're contrasting expressions and poses are perfect!! Looks like they'd have a great personality dynamic between them, and in composition this comes out awesomely!! I love Tori's smile, it's sooo raw and happy!! (and those teeth are just spectacular, So sharp and defined). And Rei's design looks coldBlooded (Haha) and just amazing!!! His big layered hairstyle and deep purple eyes are really eyecatching and make him look like a silent but deadly type of person. Also, love those scar mark things they both have!!
But can I ask, what's the type TS-17 R-A etc mean?

haha yes, theyre best friends! maybe they'll be more when theyre not 14 lol! rei is actually a girl hehe but her gender is very vague (purposefully) so its ok u didnt kno lol!

those are their codes! they're experiments in a lab and those are the names theyre recorded as in the logs for data fiding purposes. they all have meaning tho:
TS = tiger shark (the type of animal their dna is spliced with)
17= the number they are of that animal's experiment
R-A= the first letters of their parents last names
12 = ok this one is random
class T= class and then the first letter of the subjects name !

Ooooh they're experiments!? Did they're parents put them into experiments or were they taken or something?

yes! the scientsits working on them are doomsday fanatics trying to prepare the human race for undersea living via dna splicing for when the world inevitably goes to shit and teh sea is teh only inhabitable place on earth :> some of the kids' parents submitted them willingly (they were liekly doomsday fanatics too), some of the kids (like rei) are the children of the scientsits themselves, and some, like avery, (who i thinki forgot to post on da) were adopted from orphanages >: )
and yes, they were! they still kinda are, theyre just mutants now.

You are simply awesome at character design and backstories (And story premises) Seriously, that all sounds cool as!!
How does your mind come up with all these really complex sad stories though? It really gives a lot of development before a full story is even fully written, that's really amazing!!
