Description The debate of whether or not Loki had died was fierce. Back and forth between the Trinity and the Varg-Father himself, firm believers both for and against his death. Hecate had been asked to join this meeting for she was one of the last to see Loki along with the Alphas but truth be told she felt out of place. All had earned their place here, with amazing feats. What could she add that Freyja, Uhma, or any other Alpha add instead?

"If he isn't dead, then where is he?" Yvla spat in retort to Bjorn, "We have trusted Alphas guarding the pit, and if he had made his way out- we would know."

Bjorn scoffed, "This is Loki we are talking about; there no end to the manner of tricks he can pull-"
"But he can't cheat death- Not again. And not like this. He is still of flesh and blood, flesh and blood can die."

It was like a lightbulb went off in her head, catching her by surprise.
"Not necessarily." she said under her breath. She felt the cold silent stares before she ever saw them. Tearing her eyes away from the dancing flames, she saw all eyes on her. Even Fenrir's. She must have spoken louder than intended. His powerful voice came.

"What was that child?"

She felt the blood rush to the inside of her ears and her mouth felt like it was full of cotton. She felt the stares grow ever more intensely as the Alphas were all now awaiting her response. "I-"

"Step forward, and speak louder, child, so all can hear."

Even though she had a powerful desire just to shirk away and say 'nevermind', against her own wishes she stepped forward.

"I said not necessarily, All-Father." Her heart pounded just as wildly as the bonfire danced.  She could feel their judgement, 'why is this lowly hedge witch here. Why does what she have to say matter?"

"Explain."

She looked from Yvla, to Fenrir, "No disrespect intended, great mother. Yes. He is flesh and blood but his soul is not a mortal soul. Loki is imprisoned in this Felvarg body, which restrains his powers greatly. But from my studies of The Edda, A-and more-" She stumbled, she had many forbidden black magic texts. Not for personal gain, but knowledge sakes.

"I believe if it were to say, die." She continued, "The body would be cold, but his immortal soul would not. He would be back to full power. And ever single one of us would be in danger. I can't say he would strike immediately, but either way- his body resting in the pits of Helheim or no. He is still alive. And I believe we all should prepare for the worst, whether be in his flesh. Or at his full power, restored."

A murmur broke out from the crowd. Ylva looked to Bjorn. Hecate looked to her Goddess, Freyja, with pleading eyes, hoping for some sort of reassurance. Or even a rejection to her thesis, for it could mean the worst for vargkind.
