How different would the anime be, if this had happened at the beginning. If someone had sat with the boys (Ed in particular) and was just THERE for them. didn't have to say a freaking word. Just a comforting hand and a willingness to let the silence speak for itself. Rather than letting loneliness speak.
Like when Nina died. If Mustang had just stopped what he was doing and completed this frame ^^--- I think everything would have turned out different.
