i know. his hair will change to black though and his skin will be dark because according to another comment on this design (look at the really long comment) he can't be white.

Hiya! Just a friendly little bit of help from one deviant to another, even though Quetzalcoatl is called the 'White Tezcatlipoca' he is not in fact actually white. I can understand why you tried to make him the opposite of his brother considering their titles as the black and white Tezcatlipocas (it's more of a yin and yang type of thing where Quetzalcoatl is order and his brother is chaos). But as a little bit of helpful advice, no one during that time had natural blonde hair. Blonde hair in fact was actually a symbol of nobility/purity that only certain people could have, and they would use dyes to color their hair. Canonically only a few teotl actually have blonde hair and a couple examples of those would be Xochipilli and the sun teotl Tonatiuh. Natural blonde hair is typically a very European trait that didn't really come over till after Spain had colonized Mexico. The green eyes I will say would be fine for this story but most natives would not have this feature since brown eyes were the most dominate trait. Also, the Aztecs were actually very big on clothing! They had many decorative outfits for every occasion: sacrifices, festivals, war, etc. I would definitely read a lot more into the culture before anything is set in stone. I say this because I too am working on a Mesoamerican mythology book Fun fact for you: The reason humans are different sizes is because Quetzalcoatl dropped the bones of the previous creations. (Also they were also a very clean people and bathed 2-3 times a day!)

Thanks for this infomation. It is very useful. Quetzalcoatl will have green eyes though while tezcatlipoca will have icy blue eyes. If you want you can help me with this book project if mine.

I like that you are trying to depict Quetzalcoatl, but I doubt he dressed like this.

i think he would be. he is described as fair skinned in the myths. so i just added the green eyes that the twins will inherit and i decided he should be a blonde. as so the clothes well i imagine that he would like to cover himself up more than most of the other gods. remember the aztecs weren't exactly big on clothing.
fun fact apparently Quetzalcoatl was the one who brought about chocolate.

Yes, the Aztecs just like Egyptians, did not need much clothing.

Yeah but apparently I was wrong about this fact as someone has said in another comment on this design.

You were right. They didn't wear much clothing.  As the other person correctly said, the other clothing was ceremonial.

That would be a very very big undertaking and require many many hours of thought.  Honestly speaking, I don't think I can afford to give you that much time.  I really don't know what I could add to it. You're the expert.
