Heeeeyyyyyy, I tried my hand at drawing comiiics!
I still suck at them, but hey, it's something!

Sooo.... yeah, this is a little comic about 's Topaz and my Tourmaline's "first encounter" or... how I'd imagine it'd happen.

Tourmaline was sent to Earth to check on the atmosphere and general changes on the planet. Since every single warp pad seemed to be "misteriously" deactivated, Homeworld launched a temporary one so Tourmaline could make the report and then go back. The blue thingy she has on her hand is a sort of recorder,where she can save notes and send messages back to Homeworld on her report!

But in the way, she met Topaz, and now she's freaking out because she has no idea if Topaz is from the gems who rebelled against Homeworld (and in consequence, a possible threat to her life) or a gem who was also sent here and she did not get a report of.
ACT NATURAL, CYEL, DO NOT PANIC. I REPEAT, DO. NOT. PANIC.

Also, did you know that when Cyel is under stress or angry, she starts attracting lightweight materials? You can't really see it on the comic, but her feet on the last panel are surely covered in sand by now. If she's lucky enough, Topaz won't notice.

This is sort of a one-page thingy. I wanted to test out if I could make a comic or not... and also try to inspire my pun-bud (Topaz' owner) with her gemsona. Sorry if she's out of character, I wantedd to keep it as much a surprise as I could >n<

Backgrounds were lazily done, but it's something!

To Heather: I TOLD YOU YOU'D PAY FOR BEATING ME TO DRAW THESE TWO would this even work as a revenge?
