I wanted to try my hand at just cleaning my sketches before coloring instead of doing lineart... It was a bad idea, cleaning takes way longer gjkhbklhfd (but maybe that was because I was too distracted at the time... who knows)
AAANYWAYS There's a bunch of stuff I'd like to talk about when it comes to Maku's family, but for now here are some random fun facts:

1. Maku being a smol goof back when they were 8. They enjoyed doing these things 'cause it made Lachellen laugh (because "THIS KID'S ADORABLE HOLY SHIT-") and enjoyed the attention. They were a small pure bag of sugar They tried different ways to wear the cloth their mom left with them, and even tried to wear it like Irina herself, but their aunt recommended them to "find their own style"...and so they eventually ended up wearing it as a scarf.

2. Lachellen, after sometime having settled in her new village, learnt to absolutely hate her new neighbours. They were loud, annoying and overreacted and complained about everything. The rest of the neighbours weren't that good, either; Maku met some bigger kids who were kiiiiiiiind of a bad influence on them and taught them the way of pranks, messing with others and being stealthy. Lachellen didn't do anything to stop them, either. She was secretly proud of them making fun of her irritating neighbors.

      "What? Maku?! No, my kid would never do such a thing!"
    "I SAW them get on the roof and throw bugs on our chimney!"
      "Why this poor angel? Look at their face! They wouldn't hurt a fly!"
      "BUT I-"
      "Okay, you know what? I'll have a talk with them, alright? You can leave yes okay the door's right there byeeseeyaaaaa!"

      "..."
      "..."
      "...Give me five."

3. From the two sisters, Lachellen was the one who inherited their mom's confidence (and attitude). She was really overprotective with her big sister despite their 10 year age difference, and would definitely beat the heck out of whoever tried to talk badly about her.
Lachellen, even as a kid, cared a LOT about her appearance. She was all about looking cute, girly and nice, while Irina... couldn't care less. Lach would often scold her sister because of this, and would insist on her at least taking care of that mane.

4. After playing around with toons of different hairstyles, Lachellen was able to find something to Irina's liking. Ever since then, she always kept her hair in a braid and has done so up until this very day!
