Description ... well, it's suppose to be Öresund, but DA won't have that in the title.

Car model by Kemal Aydabol, available at RDNA

This image is a Vue HDRI render, not a Photoshop composition. This essentially means the surroundings consist of a 360 degree photo which is loaded into Vue. As you can see it's a bit grainy. Perhaps because of too low resolution, as it is a freebie.
While you can achieve great looking results using a good HDRI photo, I don't like this technique because it is also very limiting. You are completely bound to the conditions set by the static photo.

I prefer making renders where everything is editable, adjustable or replaceable 3D, such as here   or here

One reason why many like the HDRI technique is the speed/ease of setting up the surroundings and the speed of the final render. This Vue HDRI render finished in about 2 minutes. The scene with the orange car took about 11 hours. (3.2 GHz Intel i7 quadcore with 24 GB RAM)

1365 x 768 wallpaper size.

I always have my squirrels re-paint, re-chrome and polish the cars berfore rendering, so that they will look better

Hey My friend! Thank you so much again for using my car I can only use that HDRI pictures in Keyshot!as far as I know poser can't use this kind of pictures, also I never try that 360 degree HDRI pictures with Vue before! As you said there's some good and bad sides or that HDRI pictures;if you can find a hi-res picture that exactly you look for your render project,ıt's great! you can take a good realistic render in a very short time! but difficult thing is finding that hi-res HDRI pictures that exactly you need!!some of non-good pictures can be sabotage to your work we need lots of different pictures for this! but really hard to find them !If you know any site link for HDRI pictures,I'll be glad to hear

You're welcome Kemal
Actually you can use HDRI images in Poser too, for IBL lighting or as an environment for the scene. I just haven't really tried it as an environment before.
Experimenting right now to see how it works using Firefly and trying to figure out how it should be lit/rendered. I have no idea if it qualifies as real HDRI, but it is my style to just try and see where I end up ... hopefully with something I can post sooner or later

HDRI feels limited from an artistic point of view, but I can see it is good for fast and realistic renders of products for commercials, presentations and things like that.

I recently visited a place called HDRMAPS. There was many pictures in the freebie section.

You're welcome
I am going to test things this weekend or next week. I have a car placed in Poser with a HDRI image as the surroundings and it looks like it is on the road, just as it does in this Vue picture. So, yes, 360 degree images can be used.
Now the question is, can one get good looking render results with one? When I have the time I'm going to test different approaches with lighting and render settings using Firefly and see what happens. Once I get some test images done, I'll show them to you and we can talk more about how I did it

Thank you I think that is one reason why many use it. Many pros also use it because it's a fast way to get results

Integration with photo is almost perfect I agree, maybe in this case You can give up and turn on photoshop for a while to add the masked layer with little grain to fit to other part of photo .
