Chara coming from a cult that worships the Player... I like that. This explains actually a lot of things about their character... wanting to purge the world from the wicked humans, wanting then to do the same with monsters in the genocide run in the desire of becoming this "player". Very fascinating. I look forward to the next scene!

I saw this going in a cultlike direction, but this seems almost too on the nose.

That head priest deeply reminds me of Judge Claude Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Actually, this is a COMIC not a game. So you Are, in fact, wrong. Also, monsters Are more pure than humans and yet despite that, they Are ALWAYS frowned upon.

Both.
I think these guys are part of a cult that believes that their lives are just a game, that there's a God who can control everything that happens, the God being the player.

In most games victory has nothing to do with defeating every enemy. The cult leader doesn't play very many games, does he?

Holy crap. I saw from the thumbnails that this was going to be about Chara growing up in a cult, but this isn't at all what I was expecting.
