Don't get me wrong, this is a very important thing to talk about as it happens to so many people. I've even seen a blind kid, a young boy named Alexander if my memory serves, being attacked by bullies in my own school, so I know that this a very real thing from personal experience.
But when I saw this, my first thought was: Awww, look at the little kitty cat taking a nap.

I've been bullied, too. For my love of the show, and my love of horses, too. It reached a head when they tried to tell me to go out in the middle of a busy highway on a short walk to the bowling alley (we had to cross it to get to it, but I digress) next to the school I went to. But...Β Β I didn't listen. I shouted that I didn't want to commit suicide. But it still bothered me so much that I told my then-long-distance-boyfriend, who told my parents, who had me write down the names of the students (apparently they were going to confiscate my phone and computer if I didn't speak up, but I didn't even know that and did sow) that told me to do so, and we got it partially resolved (it was close to the end of the school year and we were Seniors in high school).

I mean, I was bullied in HS. It wasn't fun at all. It was more of the psychological/emotional variant of bullying than anything, but it still resonates with me.

That kind of thing never is for anyone dude. Β For me the key is too not let it control you in any way. Β And to let it go when it gets out of hand. Β I was never really bullied in school, but I hate it when other people are. Β You know what I mean?

Yes. Some people are lucky to not be A) the bullied, or B) the bully. The psychological torture was them trying to make me go across a busy street without the teacher's say so. But I didn't listen! I knew what they were up to, and I didn't listen! Otherwise, I wouldn't be here.

No shit man. Β Anyone who tells you to cross a busy street without a go-ahead first off ought to be detained for their actions in the first place. Β Just to say this now... when I was in high school people left me alone because they thought I was crazy or high almost all the time. Β I was neither, I just had to put on a good show for everyone else to watch and enjoy. Β Also, I would run up and down the halls for almost no apparent reason and people would try to play chicken with me as I did so. Β

Neither was I. Β But things were different for me. Β When I did things like run the halls or make weird noises, everyone laughed. Β But I didn't care what they thought of me. Β I was raised that no matter what, the normal is just an excuse to give people a sense of security about their own fallacies and faults. Β Not trying to badmouth ANYBODY here, but do you see where i'm coming from?

Yeah, but I just hated being bullied by others. Talking smack about horses and my favorite TV show. Not taking my decision about becoming a writer seriously. Heck, I show my friends a draft, and they laugh at the tiniest detail (one story has my leads sleep in different bedrooms in one hotel room).

Then take my advice on this one dude; just ignore them. Β If anyone's got a problem with you at all, to hell with 'em. Β I say if you want to write, let no one stop you. Β

That is a great message and Odd is my favorite character aside from Jin....^_^ I know I know Jin's not real but he's easily my fave... Odd is my fave in the original series though... And you have a great message to share....
