I thought a picture of a dragon and her mistress would be really interesting. I found it rather hard as well. Dragons are big and a little unwieldy to pose around girls.I've been wanting to do a blue dragon for a long time. Well, this dragon isn't exactly blue, just surrounded by blue... so be it.

Very beautifully composed piece, you have captured the size of the dragon and the girl very realistically, and the scene is very well done with respect to lighting and color composition as well, it feels very magical and fantastic, yet very believable. Excellent work.

wow, just wow. I think it'll look nicer if the glowing orbs glowed brighter though. What do you think?

They were brighter, but it overwhelmed the balance of the whole picture. I had to decide what was the most important thing in the picture and keep the focus on that. Which means the orbs needed to be dimmer.

3D sometimes can be hit and miss at DA. There are some really amazing artists here though. I hope you find a few more that you like!!!

I'm sure there are other great 3D artists I still don't know. What I usually don't like is the "synthetic" feeling of the image. Most of the 3D characters I see around look like plastic dolls. Instead, you did a great work.
