Started it last week, finished it this afternoon. I think in total, about 6 hours of work.I like the way he came out. I was going to leave the background white or purple, but in the end it didn't look quite right. So you get a gradient instead.

This is quite intresting piece. Especially I like the texture and details on the dragon's skin. The colors look very nice, and I really like how the light source is shown in the painting. The details on the wing, legs, and feet look simply stunning, too. Overall, it seems like a quite amazing piece since my favorite subject is fantasy. But one thing in mind, the background looks pretty simple so even it’s supposed to be ‘flying’ but it gives a bit flat movement. Like it's kind of like stopped object in a photography,..
