I'd like to start by saying that this isn't a bad look piece by any means. I'm actually fond of the way it looks. The coloring is nice and tame, the shading is nice, and the simplistic style fits the character. However there are some things that you could work on. The line work appears a bit shaky, which is a bit distracting but awful. Some of the spots on the tail could flow with the shape a bit better. And the location of the mouth (although not THAT big of a deal) is in a bit of a strange spot. I see a lot of potential in you, as long as you continue to refine your technique.
