While watching Kenai and Koda 1 for the first time today I drew a few sketches of some schenes. I think their pretty good but I still need practice to be able to draw them well without watching the picture constantly between the screen and my sketchbook and being carefull about all the traces.I have another deviant page here which is sketches of these BEFORE I saw the movie, right before I did so.
Seeing the diference is interesting.

nah, its a regular pencil and then changed its colour on photoshop if I recall correctly....

Oh, well that's a nifty trick too then. It's an idea I should probably try myself sometime, seeing as I don't get to color stuff all that much. ^^'

Yeah these are good! Especially the bottom one which is no question definatley Kenai, the one on the top left is good too, got the markings and expression and fur and everything right..the middle one is litttleee bit off and the one on the right edge hard to tell. You may be able to learn how to draw him if you use guidelines and circles and lines etc to create the basis for a cartoon animal, and mark where to place the features on the face, look for a tutorial if you haven't learned how to do this, it does take a while and then just study his features and understand how they're drawn which is unique to Kenai and replicate this..instead of copying...draw what you can draw and mould your character to be him if that makes sense
