Request for Axel-von-Fersen. Hope you'll like it
Another pencil portrait of an historical character, this time is Queen of France Marie-Antoinette. All these details were challenging but great to draw.

I think you really did capture the essence of her features. Marie Antoinette was a beautiful woman and you captured her beauty. Yet at this time 1787 and 1788 she was a queen who had great concerns of state on her mind. That seriousness you also captured very well. I do have several other Marie Antoinette pictures I would love you to try - most with wonderful curly hair you do well

This picture shows off her hat and plumes but also her buxom figure - that I hope you will also bring out. I do like it! You did a wonderful job. I like the Queen's expression and look - think you captured her! She looks serious and a bit distant and detached, perhaps wirth serious concerns on her mind as she may have have had in 1787 or 1788 in those difficult years just before the French Revolution. Plus the details of your drawing! - love the headdress and plumes, and her sash. You also did such a nice job with all the curls in the Queen's hair. Thank you for such a nice portrait of Queen Marie-Antoinette.
