Hey guys! It's been a while. c: But I'm not dead I promise. Just very very distracted on rp!tumblr verse and RL.I'm beginning to adore Mystique more and more, she's like this weird spirit animal or something now for me. Who knew. Begin playing as her and bam, more passionate in X-Men. I used to play movie!Charles as well but I enjoy Mystique far more.
And Watson. But that's because he's such an adorable little man.
So I'll definitely be working on some rp doodles from the storyline my version of Mystique has gone through, she's rather a combo of movie and comic really. Also expect some Sherlock art. *sage nod*

Technically that act along showed how much she cared for him. Considering the fact that she murdered those who knew so that she could catch her bearings and then run only to be cornered on a cliff left with the choice of letting herself be caught along with her newborn child; it more or less wasn't her choice, it was a forced decision on her part to have his death be one on her terms and to be quick rather than to allow him to be captured and tortured for being devil spawn.

As I said above there is a reason why she acted as she did. I'm not saying it was the right choice but it was the only choice she had at the time. It can be viewed as morally wrong however that in itself is your own choice.
Mystique isn't a crazed psychopath, she's a calculating woman whose actions paint her as being unstable, a factor she uses often to her advantage.

I so need to keep up to date with pop culture, I thought that was an Avatar until I read your description. Someone was on about Proffesor X the other day too, I thought they were on about the Powerpuff Girls XD
Anyways! I totally love this drawing! It's amazingly well-drawn, I just love Mystique's expression, too, you really captured a look of pure love realistically and perfectly 
The shading is amazing, too, and I love that despite being all blue that you really empthasise differences in complexions, and facial shapes and expressions and things
