So, one of my New Year's Resolutions is to keep a sketchbook and draw in it regularly. I've been practicing small realistic portraits in it, and this is one of the products of that. I'm quite proud of how the hair came out. I always tend to get lazy on hair.

I'd love to get feedback on this! Realistic portraits are something I enjoy doing, and I'd love to find ways I can improve.

REFERENCE USED: I can't link directly to the picture unfortunately (Instagram doesn't have that option on PC), but it's the photo Mark just posted on Instagram this past weekend of him at the Women's March in LA.

Done in graphite on Strathmore mixed media paper.
