This one was my first (recent) attempt at painting completely over the line art. I really like that style of digital painting; I'm not great at it yet, but I'm fairly happy with this piece, considering my current experience.
Unlike most of work, in this piece I established all the values in greyscale before adding in any color. I'm not a big fan of that approach at the moment, but I like the end result of this better than my prior pieces... so I'm not sure where that leaves me.
On this one I made the mistake of using the line art's original resolution, which wasn't all that high. Moving forward I'll upscale the canvas to at least the resolution of my iPad Pro.
