This is a pin-up of some Chinese bodybuilders in a pump room getting ready for a show. Their appearances are based on this hot soldier at the beginning of Disney's Mulan. There's always been this perception that East Asian men are usually quite feminine or at least have a 'flower/pretty boy' but masculine aesthetic even in many native Chinese period dramas. Rugged, bearded and bodybuilder-type guys aren't usually the main romantic interest and sometimes they were villains or simply side characters. One of the first bodybuilding pump room videos I watched was a Chinese one with really hunky looking Chinese men with ruddy tanned skin and glistening muscles. It was kind of motivational and really hot to see guys that looked like me being rugged and manly and basically having a good time prepping for a bodybuilding competition.
