But there is a glitch that allows you to get Mew.
If ya miss the event then sucks to be you, there is no other way to get Arceus.

In Red, Blue, Fire Red, and Leaf Green, there is a pokemon named Mew. It litterally "The Legendary Pokemon" and is uncatchable. Arceus created everything during a dream, therefor, he is God. You can catch him. What iz logic?

You just can't. It's impossible. You get pokedex data for it, but it flies away the only time you meet it. Mew Two on the other hand, he's catchable.
